Wow - This is the inside to the stained glass card which if two posts under this.  The clouds are silver paint - very effective.  The folder she used to get the stained glass effect is elegant lines folder.

This is my offering tonight - for my daughter to thank a thoughtful friend for bringing her a sack full of fresh ducks.  They do love duck!  It is hard to see, but the tag was embossed in black, then the edge colored in before sponging the center to match the card.  Again limited skills with the camera!

Tanzghi is back!

I have had such a good time with my grand daughter again!  Here are two cards she did.  The first, an admittedly non conventional valentine for a friend. The second for a thank you.  Hard to tell with my limited photography skills that the colors on this are embossed in clear to really make it look like stained glass.  Irl it is amazing!  They are both quite stunning!

Another framelit!  Surprise!  The flower is from the mixed bunch stamp set and embossed on designer paper.  The  pool party and poppy are so nice together!

I am so loving these framelits and apothecary stamp set!! No sentiment yet, since I tend to put those on  as  I need them.  I'm still not real happy with the finished product - it seems kinda stiff and needs something!  Suggestions appreciated!  Maybe a flower or two?

Last card today.  This one has a doily from our new doily die on more of the pretty new designer paper.  I love having all that on my digital studio so I can print just what I need when I need it!

This is a fun card - I'm really in an orange mood - the new framelets give a great shape to cards and they make more than one shape!  Here I have used three on the outside and used the outside part of the  upper framelet to brighten up the inside of the card.

Apothecary

I just love this stamp set!  Even more that I have it  on My Digital Studio and can print it with abandon!  I can even watercolor!  I added some crystal effects to the flowers and it seemed to do the trick!!  It adds a really nice texture.  You can click on this to see it in more detail.

Hello Friend

This card is a case of Adriana Benetez.  However, I can't find her anywhere to link to her card!  I changed this up some to make it mine - I used the scallop punch and colored the balls with Dazzling Details.  Makes it the prettiest, softest purple sparkle!  Something happened between laying the lovely scribbles on and getting them glued!  lol.

Tanzghi's cards

My granddaughter did these. I was really impressed with how quickly she dives into my stamp stuff and whips out cards.... we do not use the same color palette at all! :-) but I thought these were really nice cards. Not cause I'm her nana or anything!!

Happy New Year!

This little jewel is a repurposed stamp case! Very sparkly irl. I was trying to keep the color to a minimum, but there are a lot of improvements that could go into this. Lots of ideas and lots of stamp cases!! It just works!!

mojo-less!!

I will sincerely have to warm up and try again!! lol But, I suppose this is a small improvement over the thanksgiving header! Onto my one post for this year - Happy New Year!

I really am going to change my blogheader!!

We had a really rough month for December. First, my sweet mother in law passed away. She was 89, but we still weren't expecting it! She was an amazing, wonderful lady. We were just beginning to breathe again when my step dad passed away. We knew he was going, but you know, you are never really ready! But both are in a way better place now. And then my sister had a small heart attack and got a brand new shiny stent in the last week of the month! So we are really praying for a brighter 2012!

I will post a few of my favorite Christmas cards. I barely got a handful done - most were in pieces on my table - put up now for later assembly. Will just get a fresh start on Valentines and cheerful spring cards!

I plan to post at least weekly - thanks for staying with me!! maurita
