Elegant Birds

I have seen several versions of this card.  But Diane Ouellette posted one this morning on SU! that made me want to jump in and do my own version!  She added the glasses, but when have you seen cat-eye glasses without rhinestones??!!   If you can get close enough the little  yellow bird also got a beak tat!!  haha  I just couldn't stop!  Loads of fun!!

Cheerful Treat Snails

I love this Cheerful Treat paper!!  And the cute little Button Buddies stamp set - that has been little used.  I have begun to remedy that issue this evening!  I cased this card from Carol Payne - mine is very similar to hers - But I used melon mambo embossing powder on the flower brad...  It iseems kinda busy, but I really like the colors!

Love Impression Plate

This is what I am giving my sweet Donny for Valentines Day!  It is a case of Patricia Barber.  I really love the impression plates.  The hardest part of this card was getting all the flowers stuck!  ha  I made several other plates while I was doing this one - and might actually get one to two done for the purpose intended!!  :-)

Bordering on Romance

Here is my case of Karen Barber's wonderful card that is demonstrating marker layering.  I didn't get mine nearly as dramatic as she did, but i love the colors.  Whisper white will only take so much blender pen!  ha.  I haven't exactly decided what to do about a sentiment yet, and I usually do that when I have an occasion to work on.  To this point, I really like this one!  You can just barely see the striped embossing on the bottom -

Tickets and Tags

Connie Collins posted one very similar to this all framed up and very cool looking!  This will be framed similarly, but likely not this week.  It will have pearls and flowers added.  Check out hers on MyDigitalStudio.net.

Pick a Petal

This is for my brother in law who is laid up with  a mrsa infection. I used Pick a Petal and Little Flowers.  (Can you find the  flowers?!)  The nailheads for pupils seemed to finish the card off nicely.
