this one is a blend of a couple of cards i saw online - the flowers are watercolored and cut out and popped on dimensionals - for the others i did (for a swap) i just used glue dots - this is just such a nice set! it also has a mum type flower with it....
this one was a lot of fun. my missing mojo is beginning to return - ha - my sponging leaves a bit to be desired, but i have seen so many cute versions of this - beach blankets, beach bags, sand castles - so here is my version - the last little boy in line just seemed so perfect to sit on a blanket - and we all know kids don't get out of the water willingly - only if the proper food is used to entice. his snowcone can't get much bigger!! lol
this particular card idea came from lisa young at add ink and stamp. i used two different sentiments from word play. i couldn't decide which to use and serendipitously, with the mortar board attached, it changed the lower sentiment to be more like an extension of the upper one!. lisa hung her mortar board from a corner, which i really liked better than this, but the sentiment swayed me!
here is a direct case of the talented mike funke. this caught my eye when i first saw it - just so imaginative! the greenery in the tall, black embossed bird cage is the oak tree from lovely as a tree! amazing! this will get a sentiment as i need it -
you know, looking at this bow tells me this is a direct case of mary brown (stampercamper) again! i love her stuff!! daffodil delight, poppy parade and baja breeze. and a cute little black glitter brad. does anyone know why colors seem to NEED two names??!!! ok, silly question - i bet the answer just came to me! hahaha
